I’ve been spending a hell of a lot of time coding Magento recently, and for any full time serious ecommerce business I would recommend a Magento solution. However I have spent much more of my time coding osCommerce and usually CRE Loaded osCommerce based ecommerce sites.
CRELoaded is still a great package (once you get rid of the annoying nags and ads) and is really taking the osCommerce platform and polishing it up to a nice usable fully featured system. If you are looking for a UK based developer who specialises in ecommerce, osCommerce and CRELoaded development then definitely get in touch. Don’t be surprised though if I mention that Magento is definitely worth a close look!
we currently have a creloaded site which has been customised a fair bit and are looking at first to get some feature updates sorted on this site, Banner zoom image etc, I have been using a company in ipswich in the past and although good at achieving end results becoming more and more unreliable and harder to get hold of. I have future plans to do a headboard only site in conjunction with a major manufacturer who has a limited web prescence at the moment. I have been looking at magento but at the moment I think a brand new site may be out of our current budget, but certainly would be something I would look to in the future. Hi there, we have an e-commerce website which currently has CRE Loaded 6.2 installed which is using WorldPay and we are looking at having CRE Loaded Pro 6.5 installed along with Google Checkout compatibility (as another payment method running alongside WorldPay).
Are you able to provide an itemised quote for the following (if you offer these):
- CRE Loaded 6.5 Pro installation
- Google checkout installation (including SSL certificate – we believe this is a requirement from Google)
As well as this there would also be scope for future modifications/upgrades to the CRE Loaded system.
