You will be working with our core clients on a variety of design tasks including mailshots, banners and other related tasks. You will also be involved in creating brand new designs for clients looking to rebrand their existing sites or set up a whole new site.

We are based in Shipley which is very easy to get to from both Leeds and Bradford areas. It is also easy enough to get to from surrounding areas such as Huddersfield, Wakefield and Keighley thanks to having a well connected train station and easy road links. Android is a great mobile operating system, we love it. On a more professional note we believe that Android will (if not already) become the winner in the smart phone OS wars, in terms of number of users anyway (lets leave the “which is the best” debate for later).

For simple requirements the best option might actually be to create a mobile optimised version of your web page using one of the many libraries such as jQuery Mobile which gives you the advantage of a single platform to maintain whilst giving the user a high quality mobile optimised experience that feels very much like using a native app.

However for more advanced requirements you might choose to develop a custom app. If you are looking for iPhone app development then we can certainly help, though our core focus is going to be on the Android side of things. We believe in being excellent at a few choice technologies rather than attempting to be a “Jack of all trades, master of none”.

We are currently looking for a new PHP developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be a highly competent PHP developer comfortable working with both procedural and object oriented PHP code. We focus nearly entirely on ecommerce, mainly osCommerce (and derivatives such as Zen Cart, CRE Loaded etc) and of course Magento.

More and more though, Magento is what we are working on, so if you are more comfortable with object oriented coding than procedural that’s not too much of a problem. If you don’t know OO coding though, you might struggle with Magento.

Along with a high level of PHP competency, we would also expect a good grounding in HTML, CSS and Javascript. Any other skills that you have will also be appreciated.
