Jira Home Screen

When opening jira for the first time you will be put straight onto the home screen which will show an overview of your activity and tickets.

At the top of the page you will also see a task bar which will allow you to navigate through JIRA and view current projects and issues

There is also an option to check the JIRA user guide

Activity feed

This will allow you to see what is currently happening on the created projects. You will be seeing what people currently on the project have been doing such as creating tasks or completing them.

Your open issues

This will show which issues have been assigned to you specifically and will also allow you to see how many you have and track them.
